Covid 19 - Omicron

It is clear we should expect significant and last minute disruption to our games and plans over the coming weeks due to the spread of the Omicron strain of C19. Many players and supporters are rightly concerned about remaining fit and healthy, especially for Christmas, and, as always, the Club’s priority is the safety of everyone.

The first casualty is the 1st team game against Old Hales on Saturday which is postponed.

The Christmas event on Saturday night will go ahead as planned.

We will review the situation daily to ensure we are reflecting the latest Government and RFU advice and of course the views of our members and players. Inevitably, in some cases, we will have to make last minute decisions about games and activities. 

It is vital that members, players and parents check our WRFC website and social media regularly and check in advance if a game or event is taking place.

I am sorry we are unable to be more definite at this stage.  Things are moving very quickly and we will do our best to keep everyone informed of developments as they happen.
