Worcester RFC Membership 2023/2024 Season
All membership categories are now available for this season
We are an amateur community rugby club, run by volunteers and supported by over 250 patron members. The Club has around 750 playing members from mini and junior rugby for girls and boys from ages 7 – 18, Colts rugby, adult women’s and men’s rugby and mixed ability rugby. The season typically starts in September and ends in April.
The Club has a rich 150-year history and boast some of the best facilities and rugby in the region. Our new grandstand will open in the Autumn.
The Clubhouse and pitches are a few minutes from Sixways junction on the M5. The Clubhouse, which was opened in 2016 offers modern player facilities as well as a comfortable lounge, well-stocked bar, food on matchdays and other times throughout the season. The Clubhouse is open Saturday and Sunday for members during the rugby season and is also used for WRFC functions and private hire.
Non-playing membership
We have two categories of non-playing membership – Patron and social. The fees and a summary of the benefits is given below:

Playing Membership
We have a range of membership categories and fees for mini, junior and senior rugby:
- Senior Mens Rugby (U19's and above)
- Senior Womens Rugby (U19s and above)
- Colts (Boys U17&U18’s) and U18s Girls
- Mixed Ability Mens and Womens
- Junior Girls Rugby, Under 12's, Under 14's and Under 16's
- Junior Boys Rugby, Under 13's to Under 16's
- Mini’s mixed age groups (Under 12's and below)

Member Fee Discounts
A 20% discount is available on M/J fees if the parent/Guardian is a fully paid-up Patron Member or senior playing member. There is also a 20% discount for 2nd and 3rd siblings. Four or more children are free of charge.

How to Purchase Membership
When you purchase your membership you will be using the RFU's Game Management System (GMS). If you are having a problem with GMS then further infomation is available from the links at the top right of this page or create a WRFC support ticket here. We recomend that you use chrome on a PC or laptop if possible. The mobile version of GMS is not ideal.
Membership Terms and Conditions
- WRFC subscribes to the RFU’s Core Rugby values of Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship and associated codes of conduct for coaches, players, members and spectators. Failure to observe these standards may result in membership being suspended or terminated.
- Playing membership commences on 1st July. Playing Members may elect to pay the fees by 12 equal monthly instalments payable by direct debit. Membership takes effect from the date of the first payment is taken.
- Concessionary rates for playing members are payable by students, unemployed, members in receipt of certain benefits and at the discretion of the Membership Secretary following consultation with team managers.
- University Membership may be granted to existing, fully paid up player members who have been registered with Worcester RFC on GMS for at least two seasons and are embarking on University education or Serving in the Armed Forces. It is envisaged that they may play four or five matches per season during university vacations or leave and may attend training. University Membership is not available to university students living around Worcester and playing matches at WRFC every week.
- Mini junior membership has various fee scales. Mini junior membership fees are due for payment by 30th September.
- Members who face financial hardship may have the collection of their fee delayed, adjusted or waived. Members can discuss their options in confidence with the Team Manager or member of the Management Committee.
- Parking is subject to availability and the Club may not be open for all Sixways events.
- An adult can enter WRFC for free when accompanied by a M/J Player at WRFC matches.
- M/J players discounted drinks card, and parking is assigned to the player’s guardian/parent.
- The Clubhouse may be closed or close early due to other events taking place.
- The season runs from September to April each year.
- Users of car parks, grounds and premises do so entirely at their own risk. WRFC will not accept any responsibility for damage, accidents or losses.
- Failure to pay the membership fee by the due date will, unless otherwise agreed, result in your membership being terminated.
- Gym discounts are available at the Nuffield Worcester, Freedom Leisure (WCC Leisure Centres) and Fitness4Less on presentation of a new 2023/24 WRFC membership card. New membership cards will be issued over the Summer. Discounts are at the Gym’s discretion and are subject to their terms and conditions. The gym may have an age limit on the offer of the discount or alternative offers for younger people.
