On a breezy bright Sunday afternoon playing on Westons Pitch 3 at Worcester, Worcester under 16s girls  took on Cinderford.

Worcester started the brightest and unlike other games took a 15 - 0 after 11 mins, but like a certain 6 nation game Cinderford came storming back and by the 30th minute had taken a lead. Worcester just before half time scored another try giving them a slender 20-17 half - time lead.

The second half started with a converted try for Cinderford but back came Worcester with a try and conversion of their own. In a game of fluctuating fortunes with both teams scoring another try, Worcester ended up with a 32 - 29 victory.

This was a strange game as the coaches thought we had lost as well as some of the players.

Going forward there could have been 5 + yellow cards today and if this was a cup or league match this would have happened. Thank to Lils the ref and hope your frozen shoulder for having to put your hand up  awarding so many penalties against Worcester is better. Players must improve their on field disapline.
