Avonmouth v Worcester Girls Under 18's

It was a beautiful wintery afternoon (or at least it was until the sun disappeared!!!) for a trip down to the South West for a game of rugby. The girls, once again did themselves proud, although, a little slow out of the starting blocks. We think the unusal eatly morning start might have had something to do with it!
But they once again showed us how they listen in training and put into practice what they have learned.
Scrummaging was excellent.
The tackiling was spot on and the ripping of the ball was awesome. After a great game with an equally matched team, their teamwork was rewarded with a 19 - 35 win to Worcester.
But the most rewarding part of the day was seeing the girls smiles at the end of the afternoon.
A great, well deserved win.
