Worcester RFC are proud to announce a new coaching team for Worcester RFC’s senior set up. Joining Head Coach Tim Pickard will be Worcester Warriors Niall Annett & Billy Searle as Assistant Coaches. Niall was with the club in the last full season of club rugby focusing on the forwards & line outs & Billy now joins the coaching set up with a focus on the club’s attack.

Coaching the Men’s Seniors twice a week will give Worcester’s players access to 2 professionals & their insight into how to get better every single session. Both are keen to share their expertise across the club giving nearly 900 players of all ages a chance to work with some of the best in the business.

Club President Stephen Lloyd enthused “It’s fantastic for the club that we are able to have both Billy Searle & Niall Annett as a part of our coaching team. The insight they have will be invaluable to us, but on top of that, it’s a real boost for our players. As we come back to some sort of normal rugby we need to get players pre-season enthusiasm back & having these two in the coaching team will certainly bring that. It’s a great time to be a player or supporter at Worcester RFC.”

Director of Rugby Niall Crawford added "To help prepare & develop our players we have been putting together a team of coaches that we know can guide any player to be the best they can be. Niall returns for his second season & Billy brings his Premiership insight to continue his coaching journey with us.”

Niall said “One of the main things I’m looking forward to is creating a really enjoyable environment where players feel they’re getting as a rugby player.” Billy added “I’m really looking forward to getting to know all the players & the coaching staff that I’ll be working. Hopefully I can add to the team on & off the pitch and have a really fun & successful year.”

Worcester RFC always welcome new players at ALL levels and have teams for all ages & abilities from 18 months to 60+ with a 1sts, 2nds, 3rds, Mixed Ability, Saxons and Senior Women’s Team as well as didi Rugby & a large Mini & Junior section.
