Well, on a "slightly breezy" Sunday Afternoon in Burton, Worcester registered a much needed win with a better performance.

Worcester for a change scored first and were soon 12 - 0, but back came Burton with a brace of tries of their own. Worcester were also playing the elements with a gale blowing down the pitch into their faces, but they battled and scored another two tries before half time.

Half time score 24 -14

Again not sure if it was the wind at their backs or Liz's magic oranges but the second half Worcester did play some very good rugby, scoring another 5 tries. Even the coaches had smiles on their faces.

The final score being 49-19 to Worcester. It was nice to see the girls win with some style. A big thanks to our Mais who played the whole game for Burton so we could have 15 a side and also Jaz who played some of the 2nd half due to injuries.

Again thanks to the coaches DJ Pete, Big Matt, Flagman Matt. Lils and the new kid on the block Magic Mark. First Aiders Sanatizer Sam and Hans Kristian I paid £15 on the M6 Toll Anderson. Our windswept manager Liz and all the supporters, parents and guardians who made the trip to Burton. The players themselves who worked together to come away with the win after a few hard results. Thanks to our hosts Burton who played well and never gave up and were still pushing at the final whistle.

Finally, the reporter did ask for a comment from lead coach DJ Pete but he said and I quote " I will get back to you". He was in the queue for the sausage and chips. He was heard to say very nice not sure if it was the game or the food. Hope Kristian got back without paying for the Toll again.
