19.01.25 Worcester U18 Girls v Old Northamptonians U18 Girls.
Semi-Final Regional Cup.
On a cold afternoon on pitch 1 in Worcester, Worcester and Old Northamptonian fought out the semi final of the Regional Cup and the crowd were treated to the game of the season.
In a Topsy Turvey game, Worcester just come out on top against a well drilled competitive Old Northamptonian team.
It was a nightmare start for Worcester when they conceded a try after 30 seconds, they were soon 12 -0 down and things were not looking great.
Worcester started to claw back into the game with a well worked try, but Old Northamptonians scored a further x 2 tries pushing the score out to 22-7 back came Worcester with x 2 tries of their own only to concede a further try before half time leaving the half time score 21-27.
The second half was nip and tuck with Worcester edging out to a one point lead but back came Old Northamptonian with a try, Worcester managed to score again and hung out for the last 10mins + to secure a 35 -32 result.
I don't usually mention players but Hebe with 5 out of 5 conversions made a big difference as Old Northamptonian managed 1.

We go again against Cheltenham North in the Gloucester League on Sunday..
