On a sunny cold late morning at Worcester, the under 15s girls played in the 2nd round of the National Cup against a strong Cheltenham North side. A good crowd of parents and supporters from both teams added to the atmosphere.

Worcester tried hard throughout the game and produced a better performance than last week but unfortunately went down to a defeat. Again there were some good individual performances and the team stuck together all the way through the game.

Thanks to all the coaches, parents and supporters also to the first aid and last but by no means least our manager.

The day was rounded off over at the sixways stadium with a great performance from the England Red Roses. It was nice to see the flag bearers from the club and the girls watching professional rugby.

PS I understand that 3 of the players were interviewed by BBC Hereford and Worcestershire.
