Worcester under 16s girls got back to winning ways against a stubborn Broad Plains team. With only 14 players available  and one player coming back from long term injury, the coaches decided to try different players in different positions.

Both sets of coaches decided it will be a 14 per side game and the crowd were surprised when Worcester scored the first try and conversion. Broad Plains came back with two tries and a conversion of their own. Before half time Worcester scored a further two tries leaving the halftime score Worcester 19 Broad Plains 12.

Worcester started the second half well and pressed home their advantage with a further two tries. Then for some reason Worcester were pegged back in their 22 unable to find an exit. Broad Plains managed to pull another try back

Final score Worcester 33 Broad Plains 17

The coaches were  pleased with some aspects of play as some players were playing out of postion,  however, the same errors occurred with defensive line speed and rucking being two of them.

Thanks to coaches Matt, Matt and Lily, our ref Sir Dan, First Aider Sam, scorer Andy, the Boss Liz, our film crew director and producer Amy oh and Wayne helped. Thanks to all the supporters. Thanks to Broad Plains for travelling up from Bristol.

P.S It was nice to see Lucy back playing after a long time on the sidelines with her injury
