Our thanks go out to the 175 lovely people that have already ordered 200 copies of the book which will be ready in time for the lunch. Also to the 80 Former Players who have ordered lunch or have already booked and paid.

A similar problem in both cases:-The book was offered at the discounted price of £25 for advance payment to help with the £6000 printing payment that has to go out shortly. Quite a number haven’t paid the £25 that was supposed to go with their order.

Late payment means that the full price of £30 applies. Equally for the lunch, payment is due in advance to ensure that we don’t end up paying for the meal and then there is a no show. Also collecting the money on the day is an absolute nightmare for those involved.

So now we come to the purpose of this note.

Please may we have your £25 for each book ordered and/or £20pp for each lunch. Payment on line is preferred---directly to Worcester RFC Former Players A/C Sort Code 55-81-57 a/c 12018600 or by cheque made payable to this account but sent to R Cumming, 313 Ombersley Road, Worcester, WR3 7BY.

We hope that you can join us for the lunch but if not just join us to collect your book order. Details of other collection opportunities will follow in due course.

Thanks folks—the book has taken a lot of enjoyable work to prepare and we are sure that you will enjoy the read during the winter evenings ahead
