Worcester Girls U18’s V Weston Hornets

Straight from the start it was proper end to end stuff with some extremely fast girls on both sides ensuring all the girls got to see both ends of the pitch regularly.

Worcester were first to score a try, quickly followed by another one, both from Evelyn. But Hornets weren’t letting it all go our way and they added two try’s and a conversion to their score soon after. Worcester finished the first half with a further two try’s from Ala making the half time score, Worcester 20 - Hornets 12.

At this point it was 27 - 17 to Worcester but the game was far from over as Hornets scored another two try’s making it a draw at this point. It was the final minutes of the game and the atmosphere for both teams spectators was tense and exciting. Worcester were down at their try line with Hornets putting up a great defence but after a quick pick and go, Ellie was over the white wash for a match winning try.
