After such a difficult year, with very few games and no chance of an end of season tour, we decided we couldn’t let the season finish without a ‘bit of a do’ for our girls.

It was a great afternoon for the end of season bash for U18’s girls and the U15’s moving up.

With an Inflatable assault course, rounders, rugby rounders, tug of war & a fantastic BBQ courtesy of Martin and Raynor, lots of fun, laughter, merriment and food was had by all.The afternoon was made possible by volunteers, kind donations & the fab hospitality of Brian & his team at Worcester Rugby Footbal Club. The weather thankfully turned out ok and the couple of showers that we had didn’t dampen any spirits. After all, rugby is a winter sport and we’re used to standing around on a cold, wet and windy pitch!!!

Lots of laughs & an interesting half hour watching the girls put up the gazebo! (Who needs expensive team building activities when you have Martins gazebo!)

We also said "so long" to our 5 senior players who will be leaving us to move onto exciting new challenges and hopefully a womens team, wherever their adventures take them. It’s been an absolute pleasure knowing them and we wish them all the best for their future. Grace, Lara, Lauren, Lola and Amy, good luck and just keep playing rugby. Come back and see us. There will always be a warm welcome for you at Worcester.

Happy end of season and roll on the next one.

If you're in years 11, 12 or 13 and having loads of fun while playing rugby with a great bunch of girls, keeping fit and making friends for life is something you fancy giving a go , then get in touch with us. We'd love for you to come along to one of our training sessions. No previous rugby experience necessary.
