Worcester travelled to Walsall for an impromptu match to start off the 2024.

Worcester continued to dominate, and it wasn’t long before Nicki D picked up the ball deep in her own 22 and a sweeping run down the right wing resulted in a touchdown under the posts – a wonderful piece of individual flair.

Further tries followed through good teamwork and support play for Bailey J, Natalee E and Alice L (who celebrated with an excited dance) and when the half-time whistle blew Worcester had established a comfortable lead of 5-38.

Congratulations to all involved. The coaches were delighted to see training ground drills coming to fruition and the girls beginning their 2024 campaign with smiles on their faces.

Thanks again to 'Snaps' AKA James for the excellent photos and for stepping in to write the match report when our usual 'journalist' went AWOL! Thanks to the coaches and first aiders and a special thanks to Ty, now known as 'Mr Hobbit Man' for providing several of the team with a topic of conversation and amusement that went on for hours and probably isn't finished yet!
