The U17’s playing their first game of the season earned a great 55-10 away win at Alcester. Playing against a predominantly U17’s Alcester Team the mix of current U16’s and U17’s combined well to score a number of great team tries . The forwards dominated the scrum which gave the backs plenty of ball which they used to good effect. It was great to see the players combining well “on and off the field” after very little training time together which culminated in a great team performance which Alcester struggled to deal with.

The U17’s have recently been formed so that the current U16 & U17’s can play some combined fixtures in the second half of the season ahead of forming what will be next year’s Colts squad and have further fixtures v Hereford , Alcester and Moseley before the end of the season.
