On a lovely autumn afternoon in Leicestershire, all supporters were treated to a pulsating and controversial cup match between two evenly matched teams.
Worcester started with a try in 24 seconds of the kick off but Market Harborough came back with two tries of their own. Worcester needed something before half time and Worcester supporters prayers were answered with a try.
Half time the coaches made a couple of tactical changes. The second half had everything, I will not be commenting on the events , as this would not be correct in an under 16s report. Just to say Market Harborough scored a "slightly" controversial try on the last play, Worcester lost 29-27. The team were a credit keeping their cool and composure. The coaches were overall happy with some good positives and also some areas to work on.
Thanks to all the coaches, the first Aiders, our long suffering manager and the parents, guardians and support who travelled today. Thanks to our film crew, also to coach Pete for the Christmas music.
A big happy birthday to tall Grace and thanks for the cakes.
Could Worcester Supporters on away matches please look out for speed camera's, it looks like we will be doing a speed awareness course shortly in Leicestershire.
We look forward to seeing the players for training next Sunday.
