On a very exciting and pulsating Regional Cup Semi Final Worcester under 15s girls lost narrowly to a very good Buckingham team 12-17

Played in a good spirt  with good sportsmanship by both set of players this is what cup rugby is all about.

On a cool afternoon the first half went to Buckingham who opened up a 12 - 0 lead however on the last play of the half Worcester got themselves back into the game with a try.

Half time Worcester 5 Buckingham 12

Something was said by the coaches  at half time that put fire into Worcester players as they came out and took the game to Buckingham and a lovely try and conversion by Worcester bought the score level 12-12

A nail biteing and tense 20 minutes with the coaches and manager looking what would happen if it was a draw at full time. Worcester needed to score to win, however in what was the last play of the game Buckingham went over in the corner for the winning try.

Final score 17 -12 to Buckingham

Worcester girls should be proud of themselves the way they fought back into the game. A big thank you to the coaches and especially the manager after a very trying week looking for a ref. Thanks to the ref who stepped in so the match could go ahead also to the first Aiders. The players would like to thank the supporters for their amazing support.

Thank you to Buckingham a very sporting side and good luck in the final.

What a great afternoon of Rugby by two good teams a credit to the sport.
