As part of our 150th celebrations, Worcester RFC hosted a Tri Nations Cup for Mixed Ability Rugby Teams from across the UK

Attended by teams from Edinburgh, Gloucester, Walcot, Surrey, Shropshire, Halifax, Newport, Berkshire, Derby as well as the oldest Mixed Ability team in the world, the Swansea Gladiators, it was a day FULL of inclusive rugby for players of all abilities & disabilities. 

Kicking off at 12pm, two conferences went at it in a superb rugby spirit of ambitious running rugby and games that included every player.

Following a 7s type format the pool winners Walcot & Swansea then faced off in the Cup final, 2nd placed teams Worcester & Newport went toe to toe in the shield and so on. Swansea Gladiators came out top of the pile and our own Worcester side took a superb 3rd winning the shield final.

Thanks to sponsor Irwin Mitchell, 100s of players from across the UK had a fun day, FULL of rugby, making new connections, friends and memories and rivalries that we hope to revisit once again next year!
