Dear Members, Players and Parents

You are invited to join the Management Committee on 16 March 2021 for our
first on-line Town Hall event.

The Covid19 restrictions and the closure of the Club for much of the last 12
months have made it difficult to talk face to face and we have missed your
views.

The Town Hall event is an opportunity for members, players, parents and the
Management Committee to consider some important Club issues and, together,
plan for a world after C19.

The event is not a mini-AGM nor an appraisal of the last 12 months. It is
very much about looking forward, readying ourselves for when the Government
and RFU give us the green light for rugby and, importantly, meeting the
challenges that undoubtedly lie ahead.

The event will focus on three areas:

  • Our initial thoughts on how we safely emerge from the C19 restrictions -
    Paul Knott - C19 lead

  • The move of membership and subscriptions to GMS and what it means for
members and senior players - Tim Cunliffe - M/J Chair

  • Our financial outlook and building a sustainable financial model for the
club – Dan Clay - Treasurer

Your input is essential as key decisions need to be made which will help
shape the Club’s future.

The event is open to paid-up members, players or a parents of a current paid
up M/J player. M/J players are, of course, welcome to join in.

The meeting will be held on-line via Zoom from 7.00pm for around an hour and
we will let you know how you can register and contribute your ideas in the
next few days. In the meantime please put the date in your diary.

Stay safe

Steve Lloyd

Chair
