After the Big Man arriving, Turkey, Pigs in Blanket, Sprouts. Turkey sandwiches and New Year we finally get back to the Rugby.

Worcester under 16s girls travelled to Stafford on a cool January Sunday afternoon.

New year but same start for Worcester as they went down 7 - 0 after 2 minutes, this went to 14 -0 shortly after however heads did not drop and Worcester clawed their way back into the game but just before half time Staffird scored an interception try that gave them a 26 -14 half time lead.

In the second half, Stafford turned the screw and steadily built up the score but Worcester did manage to score a further x 2 tries. The final score was 66 -28 to Stafford. Stafford are a good solid team but Worcester heads never gave up and indeed showed some very good passages of play. I must mentione(I had new white boots for Christmas) Izzy who scored a hat trick and Hebe who hit 4 out  4 conversions. There were also further good individuals performances. Worcester also had players who have not played much and one player,  who had her first game.

Thanks to the coaches, DJ Pete in the house. Big Matt and Matt, our Manager Liz, first aiders Sanatizer Sam. Hans Christian Anderson and Sam's new assistant cold Sponge Soph. Thanks to the parents and guardians for their support and the players for never giving up. Thank you to Stafford for their hospitality.
