On a beautiful November afternoon at Old Yardlian RFC ground, Worcester under 16s girls took on Solihull Vixens under 16s girls.

This was a game of 2 halves, Worcester started slowly and it took 20 minutes for Worcester to score the first of their 2 tries to take a 14 - 0 lead at half time. During the first half there was an injury to a Vixens player and the players were transferred to the adjoining pitch. It was good to hear that the player is not as seriously injured as first thought, we wish her a speedy recovery.

Half Time 14 - 0

A few substitutions during the second half, a few positional changes and a better attitude swung the game towards Worcester. The game finished with Worcester winning 43 - 0

Huge respect to the Vixens who never gave up and kept going until the final whistle.

Going forward into the cup match next week there were positives and some areas the coaches will work on. Can all players make sure their parents update Spond if they are available or not for Wednesday to assist with planning the training session and Sunday for match day.

A big thank you to the coaches and too our long suffering manager. Multi tasking Sanatizer Sam not only our first Aider but also re-hydration technician (water boy). Thanks to Phil the Ref

Thanks to Old Yardlians for the hospitality

PS hope you feel better Coach Dan
