Worcester RFC’s Women’s Team will be hosting an Inner Warrior event at the club on May 3rd 7pm-9pm.

The Allianz Inner Warrior is an event to introduce women to the wonderful sport of rugby union & is run by clubs across the country. Everyone can attend the event even if you have never played or even those who want to get back involved after some time away. The club will also be hosting a BBQ after the event for everyone to enjoy some much-needed socialising.

The event is guaranteed to be great fun and hugely rewarding, encouraging you to challenge yourself and learn new skills. Team sports and group activities are also a fantastic way to stay motivated with your fitness training & this could be the perfect opportunity to find make new friends and improve your physical & mental health!

Mark French (Worcester Women Head Coach) said “I can’t wait to welcome everyone down to the club on. It will be a great opportunity to get women back into the sport or try it for the very first time. Since working with Worcester RFC I have felt extremely welcomed & the environment here is very inclusive.”

If you are interested in attending please contact Benny on worcesterwomenrfc@gmail.com

Mixed Ability Rugby is contact and non contact in the same game so those who cannot or don’t want to take physical contact, can still enjoy the brotherhood of rugby.
