"I am sad to report the recent death of John (Jack) Yarwood (Senior). He was a club stalwart in the 1990s and 2000s and was instrumental in creating Worcester Wanderers as ‘a club within a club’ to enable amateur players to play competitive league rugby.  He was Wanderers 1st XV manager for a number of years and subsequently 2nd team manager. He has not been well enough to come up to the club in recent years but spent many hours a week over many years to ensure that amateur rugby was able to flourish at the club.  His funeral will be held on June 22nd but will be limited to 30 people due to current covid restrictions.  e will ensure that the club is represented."

Club President Jim Goodman
