Worcester Raptors U13s travelled to Ledbury with 2 teams.  On an uncharacteristically dry morning, the ground was soft and conditions perfect for 2 great games of rugby.  Both of Worcester’s teams started with intent and gained early leads. Raptors ferocity in defence combined with slick hands to stretch the opposition meant the foothold achieved early on was maintained and stretched throughout.  Both Worcester teams emerged as clear winners at the end but all credit to Ledbury who showed resilience to keep working to the very last moments.

‘Our capable squad has combined well with some excellent newcomers in the last few weeks’ says Richard Mills, Head Coach, who went on to add ‘the group are certainly an exciting prospect and we are very much looking forward to being put to the test next season.’

Worcester U13 Raptors face Evesham at home for the season finale next Sunday.
