Well, it's an end of an era, as Worcester under 16s played their last game of the season against Cinderford under 16s deep in the Forest Of Dean  on a bright Sunday afternoon.

Worcester travelled with 16 players and the coaches had to juggle positions around with some backs having to be forwards. Thank you to the players who helped out without questions, you did us proud.

Worcester started strongly and went into a 12 -0 lead. The Worcester Welsh Bomb Squad front row with the new forwards causing Cinderford problems ,and , after about 20mins the Cinderford coach called for non contested scrums, Worcester's captain was not happy with this and discussed this with the ref and again at half time but to no avail. Worcester scored again opening up a 17 -0 lead but just before half time Cinderford scored their first try.

Half time. Cinderford 5 Worcester 17.

Cinderford scored first in the 2nd half but back came Worcester with two further well worked tries. Cinderford score a consolation try before the end of the game with the final score Cinderford 15 Worcester 29.

A few players had tears in their eyes as it was for some the last time they will play for Worcester under 16s. Worcester played very well with limited numbers and created some very well worked tries.

Now to thank everyone, firsty DJ Pete, who apprently is "hot" according to one of the Rugby mums, he is going to be Mr November on the next calendar as long as we have a size 5 rugby ball. Somebody did say a minis ball would do better.

Big Matt as always and of course flag man Matt our new hairdresser not forgetting Lily Lilt

First Aider Hans Kristian Anderson and good to see Sanitizer Sam up and about we wish you well after your recent health problems.

The photographer, parents and guardians and not forgetting the magnificent 16 players

Finally the no 1 manager Liz, where would we be without you.

This is my last report and would like to thank all the coaches during the last 5 years, Liz for all you do and first aiders especially Sam for taking all the jokes. As one of the two Ronnie's would say its good night from me
