Dear All

As widely anticipated, Wychavon District Council has given the Grandstand the go ahead.

This is a significant day for WRFC and our success is down to one of our principal sponsors - Sian Griffiths of RCA Regeneration. Thank you!

The stand is already under construction and the work to lay the foundations and other enabling schemes can now begin in earnest. This work is being led by Club stalwarts Gav Vickers, Paul Croad and Niall Crawford and our aim is to have the official unveiling of the stand at the start of the new season in September.

I would also like to thank Members, the WRFC 100 Club and sponsors who have already pledged money for the stand and seats. The response has been fantastic.

Finally, a little more money in the way of donations and sponsorship would always be welcome and, importantly, will help us complete the project without having to rely on our modest financial reserves. It might also allow us to start thinking about the next phase!

If you would like to make a donation or know someone who might be interested in sponsorship or membership, please ask them to get in touch.
