It is with a heavy heart and a deep breath that we share the tragic news that former Worcester RFC President and local businessman, Dave Hodgson, died last night 6th Feb 2023.

Dave was a hugely influential figure in both rugby and business. Not only that but those who knew him will testify he was a larger than life character with a very dry Lancastrian wit!

His wisdom, knowledge, warmth and humour will be very much missed by all who had the considerable pleasure of his company.

He passed away peacefully with his wife and daughter by his side, holding his hand.

The funeral will held on Friday 24th February @1:30pm at Lancaster and Morecambe Crematorium LA2 6AD.

Donations to the Wooden Spoon and St Johns Hospice, Lancaster gratefully received.
