In exciting news, the club are launching it's own sports academy called the 'Worcester Sports Rugby Academy'.

Worcester RFC are proud to be partnering with former Warrior Thinus Delport to develop and provide sports to local children in the Worcestershire area through the Worcester Sports Rugby Academy. In addition, the academy will offer education and vocational courses to those aged 16+ as well as offering coaching experience within schools & after school clubs.

Thinus will be working with James Gregory & the team at GDF holding regular rugby & sports sessions at Worcester RFC.  Additionally, as part of the strategy to work and develop our community, the team will help local children improve their education (some of whom may be SEN or from the most disadvantaged backgrounds in the county). The team have vast experience in working with those who live with ADHD, Autism, ODD or PDA & who struggle in regular school. The project will put them into 1-2-1 situations, where they can get the bespoke learning and development attention they need in an environment in which they’ll flourish.

If you have any questions re; the project please contact club chairman Stephen Lloyd or take a look at our academy website
